This is a quick peek at the NEW Joolca HOTTAP V2. I just wrote about the Hike Crew Portable Propane Shower in my previous blog post… so what gives? After my most recent trip back to Sequoia, I decided that I needed more of a kitchen sink setup. Since I enjoy cooking outdoors for my family and I like to push the limits of what I cook since I now own a Woolly Bear trailer complete with a full kitchen and slide out fridge from Truma… I needed a way to clean all the pots, pans and dishes after the dining experience. After a bit of research I came across the Joolca brand which started in Australia and made its way to the US with a warehouse located in Utah.
I ran into the first Joolca HOTTAP system doing a search Google a few months ago. The new Joolca HOTTAP V2 is a complete overhaul of their previous offering. My attention was locked in on the NOMAD system which offers all accessories and the kitchen sink… LITERALLY! The kitchen sink accessory is a study unit that houses a faucet and dish holders to dry even the heaviest of items such as cast iron pans! The sink also features a drain hole that you can direct to a designated location away from your sink area to allow proper drainage of your grey water. Needless to say, I went ahead and placed my pre-order for the HOTTAP Nomad Kit along with their Ensuite Double (Automatic Two Room Shower Tent).
I’ll report back on what I think of the entire system once I get my hands on the actual unit which is scheduled to arrive in mid September!!
